“FAREWELL EIGHTEENTH STREET LOUNGE”

(photos by John Shore)

“I’m honored that Fund by Photo selected Eighteenth Street Lounge for its first online show. Professional camera skills applied creatively have resulted in a show with a large number of exciting photos from pre-COVID-19 live performances at ESL. Many of these photos are published here for the first time. Currently, live performances are not allowed across the country as a result of the pandemic; looking at the pictures reminds me how much joy live music brings to our lives, and how important it is to #saveourstages.

Prints of these incredible photos are available for purchase. If you miss the music and want to do something to help those most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, please buy one. The great folks behind Fund by Photo have teamed up with three incredible charities to help in the fight against the pandemic in DC’s hardest hit communities. Fund by Photo donates 100% of the net proceeds to its nonprofit partners.”
